The arm is good, easy to use and install BUT the weight supported is not at all what is indicated.
So you end up with an arm that collapses with a microphone weighing 380g when it is supposed to support 900g.
Weigh your equipment well before ordering.
The mounting feet have a very small depth, which means that they do not fit on every desk. Completely unusable.
Very poor quality product, the springs would not be present that would not change anything. Very disappointed with this purchase, but if you need a lamp holder this product is ideal.
For this price, I couldn't have expected better. If some people say that the arm moves by itself, it's because they don't tighten the screws enough, that's all.

In practice, the arm works, but the foot of the arm is held in the metal bracket in a hole that is too large. The screw at the back of the arm only holds the arm if you move it in line with the screw. Otherwise, the arm has some play, which is *very* unpleasant. It's a pity, because otherwise, the finish of the joints and springs seems to be quite good.
After testing it for a good 3 weeks, I had no problems with it, it does the job well.
You need to have a good grip to widen the opening to slide the microphone because it's not easy, but you only need to do it once so in the end...
Then, you'll probably have to screw the screw closest to the microphone regularly with the vibrations from moving the microphone, but honestly it's not a problem, at least not for me.
This is my first microphone arm (Bird UM1), and I have to say I'm a bit disappointed with the quality. There is a lot of play between the desk clamp and the arm itself. The clamping screws don't lock the position of the mic either.
For my current use, it's still good enough. It remains to be seen if it will last over time.

Be careful with the size, it is not very big.
Also, the anti-vibration mount won't let some of the larger mics through, so be careful with that.
