With the fibre (and therefore the Orange box) installed in the garage (a constraint on an old country house), I plugged in the boxes and followed the instructions in the (concise and clear) manual. In 10 minutes the boxes created a WIFI network with the same original SID (Livebox), great!
For the upstairs office, I have another PLC box for an Ethernet connection (I prefer it).
To replace an old model from Or.... which was not compatible with my new 4k fibre box. I was able to get TV again with this one, as well as internet on my phones and other devices.

I don't give it the highest score because not everything is perfect, but it does its job well enough.
The device is certainly "imposing", but quite pretty.
The installation is not complicated at all, even if you can fumble, but nothing too bad.
It allowed me to solve my connection problems, as the digital box was very far away.
You can also download an application on your phone that pushes its operation further.

Nothing to say! for those who do not know, it is rather such a simplicity, everything is preconfigured for novices! the configuration application is not bad either although perfectible .... hence not 10/10 but frankly not very serious! I had seen some comments especially in the technical press, but for the blow it is a good pick!
Good product overall, but the dbit is far from the mark but satisfactory. I use it for the PS4 and the POP player to switch to wired as the wifi occasionally drops out on TV programmes. The latency is still good enough to allow online gaming on the console.
My wife and I are both teleworking at the moment, so we needed a solution that would allow us to work in separate rooms. However, it was very difficult to get wifi from one end of the flat to the other because of the concrete walls.
I chose this product for its integrated sockets (few sockets in some rooms) and its brand: I have never been disappointed by TP-Link.
Once again, I am very satisfied, the speed at the PLC output is almost the same as at the box output (wired, I have not tested the wifi)!
In short, I recommend it.
Functional product in all respects; easy to use and set up. A bit bulky but manageable. The ethernet and wifi speeds are very good.
The only downside is that after 3 years they no longer work. The only downside is that after 3 years they don't work any more, no more sync (home light off). For static components, some connected permanently but still.
It's a shame and disappointing.

I was able to connect my TV to my ISP's box without using either WiFi (bandwidth was insufficient and I couldn't watch my Netflix or Amazon Prime movies) or RJ45 cables that were running around the room, risking tripping over them.

Quality PLC kit. Easy to set up. The advantage is the 3 Ethernet sockets and the integrated WiFi repeater with a simple replication of the 2 WiFi boxes. Very practical as it is transparent for all the devices which pass from one terminal to the other without any break.

I've had a bit of trouble with the installation, but fortunately the instructions are very clear (phew!) and this PLC provides the expected services. The choice of the type of transmission (wifi or cable) is practical. I've been using it for several weeks now (only remark: the device is still relatively hot). I recommend it.
Yo! so very impressed with the cpl but the TP Link mobile app is a bit rubbish. You can check out the 1.9 out of 5 ratings on the playstore...
But fortunately the webapp makes up for it a bit. There are some very interesting features like the wifi off scheduler or even Wifi Move. I'm waiting for these features to work properly to put the 5 stars. Otherwise, the rest is fine.
Compared with different models of CPl kit, this one seems to me to be very correct in terms of performance (reaches up to the 3rd floor), stability and ease of installation.

Usually disappointed by the PLC, here I must say that it is not bad. Living in a large house where WiFi is not very good, only the PLC allowed me to enjoy the Internet everywhere. Of course we are far from the promised 1200 Mbits. We are rather between 400 and 180 Mbits which is more than enough for VDSL2 (80 Mbits max). The "ping" (latency) is very satisfactory (between 20 and 30 ms) in game.
So good product. The Wifi replication is a plus if you want to use your tablet in the bedroom or kitchen.

So this PLC kit works without any driver or application for standard operation.
You just have to :
1) connect the first box to the box in Ethernet, connect the two boxes to the mains,
2) Pair the two PLC boxes (small button on the side of each box),
3) for the wifi, press on the WPS of the box, press on the wifi button of the transmitter box, that replicates the ssid and the key of the box on the wifi of the cpl,
4) you can also connect 1 to 3 non-wifi devices to the second box via Ethernet.
The application (Android) or the web interface (see the manual) allows you to customise the cpl's wifi to cut it off at certain times to be specified, and also allows you to define a "guest" ssid different from that of the box, which allows you to offer the wifi to visitors, without authorising them to use the local network and its file shares for example.
In short, I'm happy with my purchase, because despite the thickness of the walls, with the cpl, the wifi is now available in the whole area where it was not available with only the box.

The wifi on this powerline is very practical for homes with very thick walls that lower the wifi speed.

The device is of good quality, easy to install but above all very efficient on my Wifi network. I had difficulties with the range and the concrete wall and once the installation was done no more worries.

Good product functionality, but the Powerline Utility and Wireless PLC Device Scan configuration software has not been updated for Mac OS. Only a Windows version is offered on the support.
