I've bought several HDD storage boxes and this one is clearly one of my favourites: relatively light, well finished, robust. I'm happy with it.
With the number of hard drives piling up in my drawers increasing, I decided to tidy up and take care of them.
This enclosure is well made and is modular.
Perfectly suited for 3.5", a little less so for 2.5", but they can be cushioned with foam pads.
I recommend this item if you are looking to take care of your hard drives.
Contrary to the description, this is not mentioned on the box at all. It does say dust, shock and vibration but NOT static electricity which I think is much more important than vibration...
Excellent product.
Handy for storing HDDs, handy for transporting them, handy for preventing access (this is only a deterrent, someone who wants to access the drives will do so without much difficulty).
The finish seems solid enough.
The protection is thick on all sides.
The only complaint is that they don't stack. You just have to put a small wedge on two sides and it's fine though.
LDLC delivery is always impeccable.
Rather than having my disks running 24/7, for my video backups, I store them neatly and plug them into a dock when needed.
As a result, this little case does its job very well: my disks are well stored, it's clean and it doesn't move :)
For something as inexpensive as this, the quality surprised me. Sure, you can't get too hung up on the details, but the whole thing is confident and robust, and that's all you need.

The case is well finished, the discs are well protected from shocks and dust.
The lock is not "secure", but it does prevent the box from opening when moving.

Great quality product. What more could you ask for to transport 3.5" or 2.5" hard drives safely.
At the moment I use it as a storage box for HDDs. Quality product. And the price is quite reasonable.
If you have HDDs to transport or store safely away from dust and clumsy hands, you should definitely buy it.
