This is my 2nd NOTEPAL U3 PLUS BLACK COOLER MASTER (for me and my wife) and we are very satisfied. I recommend this product.
Bought for a MacBook Pro 16" 2019, I had to cobble together some wedges so that it wouldn't slide around, as it wasn't wide enough to rest on the rubber pads provided...
Otherwise, it does the job, but I expected it to be more significant with or without the fans switched on.
Attractive non-plastic frame. The fans can be placed wherever you like. All very quiet, nothing to complain about.
Good support, the PC stays firmly in place. The fans are not noisy, they do the job. It's much more comfortable this way than with the PC resting directly on the desk.
I got 2 of these for my children's computers because I've already owned one myself for years.
It's made of aluminium, so it's hard-wearing, the fans can be positioned wherever you want to optimise the airflow, and above all it's very large, so you can put a lot of different laptop formats on it.
The only criticism is that, with its xxl dimensions, it's rather cumbersome when you're on the move because it won't fit in your laptop bag, for example.

As a stand it is excellent, sufficiently rigid, beautifully finished, very well designed.
The dimensions are perfect for a 17" PC, the fact that the stand is a bit larger ensures that the perforated part covers 100% of the PC surface. (If you have an 18/19" with air suction underneath in a corner, it may be partly on the solid edge of the stand)
For the ventilation part, the clip-on system is great and allows you to place the fans wherever you want.
On the other hand, the efficiency is limited.
For my part it is not annoying, I only wanted the support.
For the cooling, it's only for the greedy games, so I mounted 2 Noctua A14 FLX powered by a 12V transformer for better performances.
I've been using it for about a month, bought it to replace another one (much too noisy and inefficient).
Does the job, more than correct noise even at full power (my wife does not complain anymore - for idea the fans of the PC make more noise). Adjustable power. The fans can be positioned as desired, which is great. Between -5 and -10°C cooling at full power.
For info on the size: I have a 17.3" laptop and it fits well on it

Correct product, efficient, stable and aesthetic. The only negative point is the delivery time which exceeded one week, not depending on the product.

The product does its job well, however, I find that the assembly quality is not perfect; there is a little play in some parts. Apart from that, it is a good product. For information, the fans absorb air from under the computer and expel it, not blowing fresh air into the computer; this is exactly what I was looking for, but I think it may help other people to buy it as the information is not available on the product sheet.

The fans tend to come off too easily.
The USB cable doesn't fit properly as it is too close to my power supply.
The feet get dirty too quickly.

My Asus R900 used to run into bios. With this product I have no more problems. However, the feet of this computer do not fit on the glides, so the computer tends to fall on the plate, which is relatively high. With the fans that can be moved it is a good point, but they seem fragile. And then the dust that accumulates!
The measurement with a sound level meter approaches 40 decibels, far from the 23 decibels announced. I had ordered this product to reduce the noise of the small laptop fans which were running very (too fast) when cooling from the outside.
The product specifications are not as advertised.

Very good quality product, but I remain doubtful about its usefulness. It only allows you to save 3 to 4°C of cooling, which is only a marginal benefit for a gamer PC.
I am a computer technician and I needed a good cooler for a msi laptop workstation, and yes as usual impeccable delivery, the possibility to choose the location of the fans and great nothing to complain about.

Simple to set up, tilted for easy writing, knob to adjust fan intensity, plugs into the USB port but does not take up the space of a port as it is dual.
In short, everything is fine after 1 month of use.
Does its job without being too noisy. Quality appearance.
I put 8 because the package was torn. Otherwise fast delivery.
The pluses :

Minuses:
- The fans are only in extraction and cannot be in injection.
Delivery by relay parcel never received and then sent back another one a month later.
I am very happy to have purchased this product and I would like to thank LDLC for this exceptional product. It cools down my laptop considerably, it is always at a very good temperature and I am very happy to have purchased it.
It's a nice stand for using a laptop (mine is a 17" MSI GL62M, no space worries) that allows you to gain height and tilt for more comfort.
The finish is good, light and robust, easy to carry. The design is simple and effective. The big plus, you can install the 3 fans as you want on the whole plate and adjust the intensity with the commodo. The fans are good.
The only drawback is that it does not have an on/off button... This means that to stop the fans, you have to unplug the USB (which, by the way, offers a second USB plug at the end, so you don't lose anything, you can always plug something over the control panel :) )
I use it every day for several weeks, everything works correctly, only small negative point, the rubber that serves as a handle opens in two. but levels of efficiency, nothing to complain about.

My computer (MSI, 17.3" and quite heavy) stays well in place, does not slip at all, nothing to say about that.
The fact that you can place the fans wherever you want is very nice, it allows you to really target the areas to be cooled.
For example, during a gaming session my GPU and CPU would get up to 95°C each and my keyboard would get very hot, so much so that keeping my finger pressed on Z to move forward (gamers know) was close to burning my finger. Now the GPU is only 85°C, the CPU is around 90°C but most importantly my keyboard has dropped a lot in temperature.

The pluses:
- Possibility to arrange the fans for the best possible performance.
- Large size, works well with my 17' laptop.
- Easy to maintain.
The cons :
- Takes a lot of dust so needs monthly maintenance, at least.
Conclusion: I recommend it if you don't mind having to maintain a cooling system. Very good product. (-0.5 stars for the dust that accumulates on the fans and on the back of my PC).
A fairly plain, non-salient design that does the job well. The three removable fans are a big bonus, so they can be placed at the graphics card and processor level for those who want to gain a few degrees during gaming sessions. Another good point is the fact that you can carry the computer by wedging it between the back plate and the rubber coated feet and hold the device with the supplied elastic band. Standing or lying down, really well thought out.
I take one star off because at minimum speed with the adjustable knob, one of the fans makes more noise than when it is at maximum speed. As a result, I use the plate at constant maximum speed.
Nevertheless, it is a very good product. Solid and practical. I recommend it for those who live in a tropical climate and need to cool their gaming multimedia and/or for those who simply need a cooling plate.

Overall, this product does its job, cooling the PC efficiently. The fact that you can adjust the location of the fans is also a big plus, allowing you to choose which parts of your PC should be cooled first.
It is however a bit noisy when the fans are running at full speed.
One flaw (for me) that I also encountered was that my PC tended to slide forward.

I ordered this cooler to replace my Zalman whose fans gave up the ghost.
I'm very pleasantly surprised: not only is it better than the Zalman to accommodate my monstrous ASUS ROG 19", but it's also very practical and adaptable thanks to its modular construction: you put the fans where you want, the control where you want (on the right or on the left, on the top or on the bottom). It is also very quiet.

This Notepal is a very good investment: very light, perfectly ergonomically inclined, visually quite classy (in my opinion), for a very moderate price.
The free arrangement of the fans is a real plus that allows you to adapt the device to the particular heat points of your computer.
I can even get my old machine (an old PC) to work almost normally again, as it was so hot that it would invariably crash after twenty minutes!
It's a great stand, it allows for good ventilation which is nice when you're playing.
However, it raises the height of the screen, so you need a high chair to avoid having to lift your head :-)
But apart from that it's great
When you unpack it, you are amazed by the machine!
Then you are quickly convinced!
Full aluminium plate with non-slip grip, light and very functional for my 17.3". It should not have been smaller.
And above all, BRAVO for the removable fan system. It's a real pleasure to place them just where they are needed to optimize the cooling.

It is useful to preserve the mechanics of your laptop when you are a heavy player.
I personally play 6/12h sessions without any problem with this, my laptop doesn't heat up much thanks to this.
I find the fans quite noisy though.
I don't mind playing with headphones but for others it can be a real nuisance.

I have to say that I bought the "Cooler Master NotePal U3 Plus Black" more to have a stand underneath my laptop to be able to play in bed. I was quite sceptical about the cooling quality.
The temperature of the graphics chipset and the CPU was rising up to 45-55°C in simple use and up to more than 70-75°C in gaming.
After installing the "Cooler Master NotePal U3 Plus Black" I was able to lower these temperatures to almost never exceed 60-65°C on resource intensive games.
So I recommend this product.

I have been using this ventilated plate for a 17" laptop for the past 2 months, the size fits perfectly for 17" (the edges of the plate barely protrude from the PC).
I am very satisfied with this product, it does what it is supposed to do, i.e. cooling.
With the optimal placement of the fans for my PC, it easily lost about 10 degrees on the CPU (from ~70°C to ~60°C).
Personally, the fans are no louder than the laptop itself (PC and board fans at max and after two months of use) and the laptop is not really noisy from the ground up.
I recommend this product, good value for money, for me the movable fans are a necessity to be able to cool a laptop.
As I said above, no problem with fan noise for me.

After now 4 months of use, I can confirm the opinion of other users who say that the pc slides on the plate (you have to readjust it on the plate every 1/2 hour or so)

Since I bought the Cooler Master NotePal U3 Plus, my computer does not heat up as much as it used to and with its tilt I do not lean towards the computer anymore.

I ordered this cooler for my "old" (4 years old, not that old) MSI which unfortunately has some cooling problems and surprisingly (I didn't believe in it too much) it allowed me to stabilize the processor temperature so that it doesn't go to safety as soon as a game is launched. Conclusion a product not so expensive as that for 19" and which makes very well its Job!
