I bought a new laptop, but it had one drawback: when I put it on an enamelled metal rolling table, it heated the surface. This is no longer the case with this stand. I don't know how effective the fan is, because I can't hear it, but in any case, the enamelled surface no longer heats up at all.
No problem with the stand, the noise level is very low, if not imperceptible.
The small problem comes from the plug, on the male side nothing to complain about, on the female side it's excessively difficult to put a male plug on it, if not impossible, so it's a wasted space.
