Installed on two machines: an old Win2K laptop and a Vista desktop, both Windows and Linux on each, for reasons of Wifi bbo... too weak received 2/5 to 6 meters by the previous equipment and 4/5 with this key with integrated antenna. First install the driver with the supplied CD for Windows, immediately recognized by Linux.
Nothing to complain about. Perfect.
I was very scared at first, I thought the antenna was not rotating, but phew! It swivels. It's just perfect, plus I get better WiFi on my desktop PC now than on my laptop. Great.

Antenna that significantly improves the received signal.
Worked without any installation on Raspbian (Raspberry Pi 3).
I had to download an extra generic firmware on Debian but after that everything works perfectly.
Despite my advanced age, I managed to install this antenna which greatly improved the speed and especially the permanence of my Internet access. Much better than the PLC I used to use, which often failed.

This adapter is automatically recognized by Ubuntu, but not by Toutou-linux and Puppy-linux because the command: "make" which would allow to install a driver does not exist in these light versions.
My tower is constantly connected to the Ethernet, so I didn't install a WIFI card inside. But for LAN purposes or for troubleshooting, I needed WIFI access.
This dongle is compact and discreet and does exactly what I want it to do: occasionally replace the Ethernet.
I have connected it to a PC running win10, no problem. You load the software, plug it in and enter the code for the ssid. the antenna can be rotated as you wish. I have a Dell SFF box and it is strong.
I have a SFF box from Dell and it's very strong, good performance with my Orange / Zen Live Box.
I received the D-LINK DWA-127 yesterday and found it really good, very good reception, very easy to install under Windows 10 (it took me only 2 minutes!). It's a very good alternative when you have some problems to run an Ethernet cable! Go for it :)
This adapter is still very practical and does its job well. Easy to install, just install the driver provided on the CD. I didn't get it to work right away because I was missing some of the necessary drivers, otherwise it was fine. It's a pity that it can't be rotated in both directions. LDLC service is always top notch.
Very disappointed with the product, it is not plug and play under ubuntu (14.04.03), I will make a change ....

I will have just a small reproach has to make him, it is advised considering the size of the antenna, to have a USB plug on the top of the tower: I'm not sure if it's a good idea to have a USB plug on the top of the tower, as it's not very good for reception behind the tower and on the front of the tower it's very annoying. With my tower equipped with a plug on the top, it's perfect (even if it makes it look like a robot! :) )
Ordered for my Raspberry Pi 2, it works perfectly (after distri update via wired connection initially).
No need for settings or fiddling, it works perfectly.

Rather average product for an average price.
Installed yesterday on the back of my PC, I was able to connect with a huge ping and a catastrophic speed. Today it's better except that it disconnects constantly.
I have switched the usb antenna to a front port and this time it works fine. I have the vague impression that this antenna does not accept any PC type element in front of it, it's a shame!
On top of that, the antenna is mounted upside down and cannot be turned. I can only tilt it downwards, which is very convenient for a PC that is on the ground (because the antenna is big too).
In short, it's not expensive but I'm not very happy with my purchase. That said, it's easy to install.
