Powerful inverter ideal for servers
Inverter powerful enough to secure our computer server with an autonomy of about 30min thanks to its double battery. Excellent value for money! APC quality!

After two years of use, nothing to say about this inverter which does its job very well, both in regulation and as an inverter during an outage.
The battery, on the other hand, is indicated "to be replaced" by the device (announced autonomy of 1 mn!).
I find the lifespan (2 years and 3 months) short, compared to my old inverter which had the same type of battery (lead/gel) and lasted well over 5 years...
Very good product, quiet, efficient. This is my second inverter of this type to secure a second multimedia system (TV, home cinema, console...).
Received very quickly.
I put 4 stars 1/2 because the packaging is the box of the device. Not too discreet.
I bought a 900va inverter on top of another workstation.
I've been using it for a while now, but it's a good idea to check out the new generation models on sale at LDLC.
I've been using it for a while now, but I'm not sure if it's a good idea to use it for a PC, monitor, external DVD/Blu-ray burner, photo printer, etc.
I've been using it for a while now, but I'm not sure if it's a good idea to use it in a power outage situation.
I'm very pleased with the quality of the product.
Bought to protect a UM2+ 3D printer, it does its job well and triggers without any problem during micro-cuts (6 since the purchase ... phew).
When printing at 250° and with the platen heated to 100°, it gives me an autonomy of 30 to 35 minutes, more than enough, knowing that 95% of the cuts last less than 5mn, for the others of several hours, you would need a generator, so you might as well stop the printing properly.
In normal operation it is silent.
It has been 2 weeks since I purchased this UPS. It secures a patchbay for the whole house network as well as a Syno DS413 nas with 2 disks of 6Tb. After some tests it works quite well. However I may be a bit harsh but it lacks a bit of compitibility with the nas. I mean that the nas does not know the remaining autonomy on the UPS in case it is on battery. This means that it will either immediately go to safety or have a delay (that the user will indicate) before the nas is switched off.
I hope that with time synology and APC will improve the communication between their machines which are both well done. However, after having done a real life test with a power cut of 4 hours, while I was not present, the nas sent me a notification of the power cut, then following the duration that I gave him (15 minutes), the nas went to safety (allowing a cut without risk of hard drives). The inverter then switched off. After the shutdown, the inverter turned on again automatically, and then restarted the nas.
I am therefore very satisfied with my purchase.
I have one small complaint to make, I suppose it is due to the carrier, I received the inverter in its original box and the box was a little damaged on a corner and at the handle.
I am very pleased with this product and would like to thank you for your support.
Good quality product, fast delivery
the inverter is silent and sends information in real time to the server where it is connected
Satisfied with the service and the product I recommend it
As usual with APC, 3 minutes to set up and it does its job. The screen gives some indication of the charge and the voltage, quite reassuring!
Nothing to complain about and very happy....
As far as noise is concerned, to raise the previous opinions, you really need to have the inverter in a bedroom to perceive it. The only noisy moment is during charging (so after a power cut), knowing that it is equipped with fans this allows it to cool down, but it is really only during charging. Very good product.
Intelligent" inverter clearly displaying the duration of the charging time after a power cut, the delivered voltage &c. I naturally reserve my mark (let's say 19/20 today) because of an unknown factor (legitimate!) on the duration of the service rendered over time: I have no way of evaluating it since I have had it for a fortnight. The rest, nothing to say: easy implementation, clear identification of functions and sockets...
Well done!
Great design, handy wattage indicator but ultra cheap plastic casing quality (Schneider Electric's takeover of APC has come to this....) and the noise of the cooling fan in battery mode is absolutely deafening!!! In case of a 2-3 sec power cut at night even if you are 4 rooms away you are guaranteed to be woken up!
All in all, this is a far cry from the general performance of APC in the past.
Bought to replace an old "MGE / Eaton", I am not disappointed with the quality of the finish.
The software interface is a bit old fashioned but functional.
Beware: if you connect a laser printer to the "battery" sockets, each time you print the inverter alarm goes off to signal a sudden increase in power consumption.
