Button out of order

Received at depot when I paid for home delivery. One button (E) is already out of order. Given the price of the Hotas, I expected a better quality product.

        Disappointing!

I am writing this review after 6 months of use and following a major breakdown.
I would say that the joystick is fine in the main lines and for the Sunday flyers once a month.
I explain myself, the joystick is rather well finished but very quickly gets a play on the central axis making the small adjustment in linear flight boring to the possible, and this translating into a loss of precision in dogfighting domagable!
But the worst for me was the throttle... A useless screen and even if comfortable under the hand it is all that remains. The button 7 failed in 2 weeks and the throttle failed after 6 months .... (The other big problem is the dependence of the throttle!
It is impossible to use the joystick alone if you already have a throttle of another brand because it is directly connected to it.
I would like to note that the first 2 weeks were still nice but that this product is not worth it anymore because it is too fragile (badly designed) and not precise enough for this price range

Very important resistance point when tilting the handle in any axis,

Impassable, because when the hard point is released the handle goes away at once, so no progressiveness !!!!! I'm returning the product.

        Very good product

Used on Prepar3D, it is the reference HOTAS for my needs. The quality is really better than cheaper products, you can feel it right away. The finish is excellent and nothing looks or feels cheap.
I recommend it, even if this product won't get the highest rating: the installation can be a bit long if the site doesn't recognize your system. Then you have to look through a not very clear list to find out what downloads are necessary and optional.
The X52 can be conquered with a little patience, but nothing insurmountable.
Finally, a word of thanks to Teddy from the hotline, who was able to put things into perspective with professionalism and hindsight, in a period of various restrictions where air parcels are delayed.

        almost perfect

        very good handling.
the problem comes more from the binding of keys for the different game profiles. some keys don't always seem to respond on some games while on others it will be without problems.
the mouse cursor part is too sensitive and sometimes gets stuck in certain positions, causing small inconveniences even on the desktop. fortunately, by pressing the associated button, the problem is solved immediately.
I'm not sure if it's a good idea to use it on a computer or not, but it's a good idea to use it on a computer.
I'm not sure if it's a good idea to use the X56 for the first time, but it's a good idea to use the X56 for the first time.

Not too disappointed at the moment!

It's almost a very good joystick, it's not cheap and at this price when the suction cups on the joystick don't hold it's a little bit annoying. The rest of the joystick is great to hold, the fact that you can adjust the height of the stick and the throttle is cool.

        Materials: a lot of plastic.
Feel: Good but the spring is felt after a few hours of play (squeaking or micro-shock)

        Super joy stick

Great joystick, great hardware. The configuration is complex, but the possibilities are numerous. I haven't figured out how to program macros for this joystick yet. The minimum configuration for XPLANE 11 is relatively simple to set up, but you have to set everything up otherwise it won't work.

But great hardware and nice to use.

        Very satisfied

The product is well made, I found the installation simple and fast, the programming for the simulation games seems more complex. It corresponds completely to my expectations and the LDLC service (order / delivery) is irreproachable.

        Stunning!

Easy to install and configure, this Joy + throttle combo will delight both new and experienced pilots!
The finish is impeccable (in spite of the plastic) and it looks solid!
Moreover the controls will delight the users with small hands as with the large ones because Joy adjustable and accessible keys by all!
The only drawback is that the Joy is connected to the joystick, so one can't go without the other and with all the cables it takes up a lot of space!

        Good joystick

A bit tedious to set up but once you've been to the manufacturer's website and updated the drivers and software, the X52Pro is great for simulators such as FSX or War Thunder.
Another constraint: only works with USB2...

        Too bad Only USB2!

As mentioned in the title, what a shame, because it seems, after plugging in and searching, following the non-recognition of the X52 Pro, that it does not work on USB3!!! and unfortunately, I only have this type of connector on my PC.

Fortunately, I found a solution with LDLC support, which consists in returning the product with a refund, I have already ordered the X-56 Rhino H.O.T.A.S. (http://www.ldlc.com/fiche/PB00207989.html), which (normally ^^ but it's written that way on several sites) is full USB3 ;)

I can't wait for its arrival so I can test it and use it on Elite:Dangerous...

some difficulties with W10 on a USB3 port

Some problems to install it on a USB 3 port under W10. But the solution is available on the saitek website (unzip the driver.exe and install manually). I've been using it for a few days now and I can't see the lights on the gas scales.

        Meets my expectations

Corresponds to the description. Perfect in every way.
However, there are three points to bear in mind:

        - Do not connect to usb3
        - Have a properly powered usb hub.
        - Do not change the usb port otherwise you will have to delete the old drivers and this is not easy for a normal user.

A 18/20 for me because of the usb constraints.

        A very good product

A very good product, if you don't want to spend too much money on a quality HOTAS.

        Beware of W10 users though:

        - Install the drivers first, before plugging in the joystick
        - USB 2.0 only. It does not like 3.0
