The Lindy Phono to TosLink (optical) and Coaxial ADC converter is a simple, compact solution for integrating analog audio equipment into a modern digital setup. It converts a stereo analog audio signal from its left and right Phono/RCA inputs into an uncompressed LPCM 2.0 digital audio signal, available simultaneously via its optical TosLink and coaxial outputs. This makes it particularly convenient for connecting equipment such as a DVD player, VCR or older-generation game console to a Home Cinema amplifier, soundbar or any other compatible digital audio receiver.
Capable of supporting a signal up to 24 bits / 48 kHz, this Lindy converter is based on a CS8406 chipset and offers a frequency response of 10 Hz to 20 kHz, along with a signal-to-noise ratio of 90 dB. Its two digital outputs can also be used as a splitter to transmit the signal to two separate audio receivers. Its particularly compact black housing, measuring just 51 x 26 x 41 mm, makes it easy to integrate into an audiovisual setup and conceal behind equipment. Powered by 5 V DC / 1 A, it comes with a 1 m USB Type-A to DC cable and is covered by a 2-year warranty.
