DMP-A8 Master Gen 2: uncompromising all-in-one audiophile electronics
The DMP-A8 Master Gen 2 from EverSolo combines the essential functions of an ambitious high-fidelity system in an elegant aircraft-grade aluminum chassis. Network player, digital-to-analog converter, CD player and analog preamplifier, it combines a large 8.6-inch LCD touchscreen with a completely redesigned interface and a smoothly damped multifunction knob. Its separated DAC architecture assigns digital processing to the AK4191EQ and conversion to the prestigious AK4499EXEQ, with AKM Velvet Sound technology. Compatible with DSD512 and PCM 768 kHz/32-bit, it reproduces high-resolution recordings with remarkable richness of detail, precise instrument separation and an exceptionally quiet background. Its low-noise dual power supply, separating the linear and digital sections, octa-core processor, 8 GB of DDR5 memory and 64 GB eMMC storage ensure fast, stable and perfectly smooth operation.
A meticulously controlled audio architecture
Entirely balanced, the preamplifier section accepts RCA and XLR analog sources and provides precise, stable and natural control at all listening levels. Volume is adjusted in the analog domain using a high-precision R-2R resistor network, preserving dynamics and micro-information without the losses associated with digital attenuation. The OPA1612 operational amplifiers, proprietary EVC Volume Engine and Eversolo AuralEngine processor help maintain balance, transparency and definition. A 10 MHz adaptive clock input also allows the device to be paired with a precision external clock, while electrical isolation limits interference propagation. This design delivers first-rate performance, with a signal-to-noise ratio and dynamic range exceeding 129 dB on the XLR outputs, as well as a THD+N of just 0.000075%.
A reinvented CD player
The DMP-A8 Master Gen 2 incorporates a proprietary EverSolo CD playback and ripping system, specifically optimized for audio applications. Its quieter and more stable operation is combined with high-precision error correction, designed to reduce playback defects and interference for more complete and faithful playback and ripping. When copying a disc, the system automatically retrieves the cover art, track titles and metadata. Intelligent correction and compensation improve archiving accuracy, while duplicate detection prevents repeated imports. The CD player thus becomes a true bridge between a physical collection and a perfectly organized dematerialized music library.
Next-generation streaming, room correction and connectivity
Designed as the nerve center of a modern setup, the DMP-A8 Master Gen 2 brings together the main streaming services and protocols: Apple Music, Spotify, TIDAL, Qobuz, Amazon Music, Deezer, Spotify Connect Lossless, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, DLNA/UPnP and Network Audio Adapter. Its EOS engine bypasses Android's SRC resampling to provide a bit-perfect path, including with compatible third-party applications. The evotune PRO room correction analyzes the room's frequency, temporal and spatial response before applying a customized filter based on DRC modeling and FIR filtering. Added to this are a professional 20-band parametric equalizer, up to 16× oversampling, FIR filter import, loudness and dynamic compression. Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4 with a Qualcomm QCC3095 module, Gigabit Ethernet, SFP optical network link, HDMI ARC/eARC, subwoofer output, AES/EBU and eight IIS modes allow it to integrate into particularly sophisticated hi-fi and audiovisual setups.
