Designed to bring a new dimension to traditional hi-fi systems, the Cambridge Audio CXN100 SE combines high-resolution streaming, precision digital conversion and intuitive controls in an elegant aluminium and steel chassis. Its ESS ES9028Q2M SABRE32 converter delivers digital recordings with remarkable detail, warm reproduction and convincing depth. Capable of supporting PCM up to 32-bit/768 kHz streams and DSD512 via USB, it provides access to a wide selection of services, including Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect with MQA, Amazon Music, Qobuz, Deezer and Internet radio. Its large high-resolution colour display, touch control knob and the StreamMagic app ensure a smooth and enjoyable user experience, while its digital, analogue and wireless connections make it easy to integrate into virtually any audio system.
A complete and upgradeable streaming platform
The CXN100 SE brings together the main current streaming solutions, allowing listeners to freely choose their music sources. Apple AirPlay 2, built-in Chromecast, Bluetooth, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz, Deezer, Amazon Music and Roon Ready certification make it possible to centralise both online services and personal libraries. Its compatibility with Google Home, AirPlay 2 and Roon multiroom systems enables synchronised listening in several rooms, or different content to be streamed in each space. Designed to last, the device can also receive online updates so that it can continue to evolve over time.
StreamMagic, DAC and preamplification: remarkable versatility
Beyond its network player functions, the CXN100 SE can become the true digital control centre of a high-fidelity system. From the StreamMagic app, its preamplifier mode allows direct control of the listening level and expands the system’s capabilities. The app also simplifies source selection, playback, playlist creation and tone adjustment. The HDMI eARC connection makes it possible to connect the player to a television and enjoy more precise reproduction within the same music and audiovisual system. This versatility is supported by the ESS ES9028Q2M DAC, precisely tuned circuits and a connectivity suite including USB Audio, coaxial S/PDIF, optical TOSLINK, Ethernet, dual-band Wi-Fi and balanced XLR or unbalanced RCA analogue outputs.
