Born from more than 80 years of acoustic expertise, the Klipsch The Fives II bring together high-fidelity sound, great versatility and refined design. Developed in collaboration with Onkyo, these active speakers feature new electronics designed to deliver the characteristic American sound of Klipsch, while becoming more compact and reliable. Their 25 mm titanium vented LTS tweeter, combined with a Tractrix horn, ensures precise and detailed reproduction of high frequencies, while the 133 mm Jet Cerametallic woofer brings solidity and impact. With a frequency response of 50 Hz to 25 kHz, high-resolution playback up to 24 bits/96 kHz and a maximum level of 103 dB for the pair, the The Fives II deliver a generous sound experience for both music and movies.
Dolby Atmos and HDMI 2.1 connectivity for spectacular immersion
The The Fives II support Dolby Atmos playback with virtual height channels. This technology places sound effects around and above the listener to create a realistic multidimensional environment from just two speakers. Their HDMI ARC/eARC connectivity with CEC makes integration with a TV easy, while the HDMI 2.1 pass-through accepts 8K, HDR10+, Dolby Vision signals and the BT.2020 color space. VRR, ALLM and QFT functions are also supported to handle demanding video content and games. Several listening modes are available: Music, Movie and Direct, complemented by dialogue enhancement and a five-band equalizer.
Complete connectivity in a genuine wood cabinet
Thanks to integrated Onkyo technology, the The Fives II let you listen directly to the main compatible platforms, including Google Cast, Apple AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect and Qobuz Connect. Connection can be made via dual-band Wi-Fi, Ethernet or Bluetooth 5.4. Their new one-piece BMC baffle, denser and more rigid, reduces unwanted resonances; its curved profile widens the soundstage, improves off-axis listening and promotes more detailed reproduction. The use of MDF covered with genuine wood veneer highlights their premium character. The metal controls located on the top give tactile access to volume and source selection, while the backlit remote control makes them easier to use from a distance.
