With the NEO-GEO AES+, there’s no question of emulation: the console relies on ASIC chips derived from the original architecture, modernized to accurately reproduce the behavior of the hardware and games of the time. It reads cartridges directly, whether old or new, guaranteeing a pure, authentic retro experience. Here, no approximation via FPGA: this is a true technological rebirth, recreated at the very heart of silicon.
Retro gaming reinvented
While respecting the original look and feel, the NEO-GEO AES+ is equipped with modern features: a low-latency HDMI output complements the historic AV output for CRT screen purists. DIP switches let you adjust the language, overclocking, or display modes. The console also offers the ability to permanently save scores with a Memory Card (included in this Anniversary Edition version), extending the gaming pleasure.
Authentic arcade immersion
The NEO-GEO AES+ Anniversary Edition comes with the famous Arcade Stick NEO-GEO in Wireless version. A faithful 1:1 scale reproduction of the original model, it is wireless here. Designed to recreate the feel of SNK’s MVS cabinet control panels, it connects via the dedicated 15-pin dongle (included). It is also compatible with vintage NEO-GEO consoles, while allowing original sticks to be used with this new version. An iconic accessory, designed without compromise, that delivers all the precision, responsiveness, and feel that have defined generations of players.
