This Honor Magic 8 Pro smartphone is aimed at users looking for a high-end device focused on versatility, with a strong emphasis on display, fast performance and photography. It combines a large OLED screen, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 mobile platform and a comprehensive camera module. Its configuration with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage is designed for comfortable everyday use, both for multimedia and content creation.
A large 6.71" display
The Honor Magic 8 Pro features a OLED display of 6.71 inches showing a definition of 1256 x 2808 pixels and up to 1.07 billion colors. The refresh rate can reach 120 Hz for smoother navigation, while the announced peak brightness of 6000 nits and 4320 Hz dynamic dimming complete its spec sheet.
On the performance side, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 made up of 2 Prime cores at 4.6 GHz and 6 Performance cores at 3.62 GHz. The whole is paired with 12 GB of RAM, with HONOR RAM Turbo, as well as 512 GB of internal memory to store applications, files and multimedia content.
A versatile camera module
The photography section relies on a triple rear module designed to cover several uses. The main 50 MP sensor opens at f/1.6, with a 1/1.3 format and OIS stabilization, for everyday scenes. It is accompanied by a 200 MP telephoto lens at f/2.6, also with OIS, offering a 3.7x optical zoom and a 100x digital zoom. A 50 MP ultra-wide-angle sensor at f/2.0 completes the set.
On the front, the device features a 50 MP sensor at f/2.0 paired with a 3D sensor. Photo features include AI night mode, Magic Color and 3 dynamic photo modes.
