    Unusable screen!

    I ordered this PC monitor thinking I was getting a good deal (ASUS being a well-known brand).
    As soon as I plugged in this PC, I noticed a constant whistling noise that only stopped when the monitor turned off.
    I contacted LDLC customer service, who confirmed that some monitors generate a whistling noise called "coil whine" (components called inductors vibrate because of the electric current passing through them and cause a whistling sound).
    I tried changing the frequency (refresh rate) and the screen resolution, but nothing helped.
    I did some research on the Internet about this PC monitor to see what other users thought, but nothing! No customer reviews!
    Unable to put up with this constant whistling that makes it impossible to concentrate, I had to return the monitor after 48 hours.
    I therefore do not recommend this PC monitor.
