TheQ1 Meta compact hi-fi speakers stand out for their size and exceptional sound quality, refusing to compromise your listening pleasure. Like all new Q Series speakers, they feature a 12th generation Uni-Q driver array and metamaterial absorption technology. The Q1 Meta is KEF's entry-level loudspeaker par excellence. They have been designed, engineered and distributed with you in mind as you look to install your first hi-fi system.
Unique construction
The 12th generation Uni-Q incorporates MAT technology drivers to deliver an even more impressive acoustic experience. Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT) consists of a labyrinthine structure that effectively absorbs 99% of unwanted sound coming from behind the tweeter. As a result, there is no distortion of the sound, for a natural, pure listening experience.
Inside, the KEF Q1 Meta speakers feature a 25 mm vented aluminium tweeter with MAT and a 130 mm aluminium cone bass-midrange driver.
