Speed and broad compatibility
The MB307U-1VB uses the advanced USB4 interface, enabling real-world data transfer speeds of up to 3800MB/s when connected to a native USB4 host. It also supports Thunderbolt 3 & 4, with speeds of up to 2800MB/s, ensuring fast access even on professional workstations and Macs.
Designed with flexibility in mind, the MB307U-1VB features a tool-less slot that can accommodate both bare-metal U.2/U.3 SSDs and third-party drive platters from leading server manufacturers such as Dell, HP and Supermicro.
Ease of use
To maintain optimum performance during sustained data transfers, the MB307U-1VB incorporates a centrally-mounted aluminium cooling plate, directly covering the high-speed data controller inside the adapter.
To ensure a stable power supply for high-performance U.2/U.3 SSDs, the MB307U-1VB includes an external 12V/2.5A (30W) power adapter. This configuration provides sufficient power for most enterprise SSDs on the market, eliminating concerns about the power limitations of self-powered USB ports.
