Yeah, it's silly, but the system (like most of them, I feel) is simply not tall enough to reach the GPU in an ''old-school" case (Fractal Design R5 from 2017, still perfect, huh)
Cases now have a compartment where the PSU section is located,
which wasn't the case before, so you easily lose 10 cm...
That explains it, anyway, be careful.
The product description does not specify any dimensions, but please note that even when fully extended, the wedge is far too small to even reach the CPU when you have a tower designed to accommodate a heavy CPU.

Following the purchase of an ASUS Noctua 5080 (the heaviest and biggest on the market), I had to buy this bracket to hold my GPU correctly. This stand is solid and won't move!
I got this bracket for my Radeon RX 9070 XT, and it's perfect.
The graphics card is perfectly stable, and the stand itself integrates very well with my case (Be Quiet Silent Base 802).
For the price, it's well worth it :)
