The Triangle Borea BR04 are passive two-way bookshelf speakers that stand on a dedicated stand and are based on the same elements that have made Borea speakers so successful: Their 25 mm silk dome tweeter combined with a waveguide (EFS Technology) ensures precise sound and even sound diffusion. The 160 mm diameter bass-midrange driver is made of natural cellulose pulp for a warm, realistic reproduction of vocal timbre. The cone profile has been reworked to reduce distortion at high volumes, for clearer sound at high volumes. These bookshelf speakers are perfect for rooms ranging from 10 to 40 m², delivering rich, detailed sound.
These BR04 speakers feature a new bass-reflex port on the front, optimising airflow for deep, controlled bass. This reduces turbulence and delivers a more accurate sound reproduction. The larger cabinet size extends the bass frequency response, delivering a sound range from 44 to 22,000 Hz with a sensitivity of 90db/W. The front-mounted event allows the BR04 to be positioned against a wall without compromising sound quality, so listening is more immersive and homogenous in all spaces.
The BR04 stands out for its high fidelity in reproducing the timbre of the human voice, thanks to its cellulose pulp driver, which lends real intensity to all dialogue. They are ideal for both stereo hi-fi installations and home cinema systems.
The BR04s feature a new double binding post with a redesigned crossover architecture,separating mid-bass frequency processing from high frequencies. This configuration allows the speakers to be used in bi-wiring and bi-amplification.
