What one generally expects are communication ports, optimal space for cooling, and discretion that goes unnoticed. Everything is there, with the good idea of having USB ports on the top, very accessible. A good point.
I like its simple design and how easy it is to assemble. I installed an Arctic Liquid Freezer III Pro 240 at the front. I replaced the front and rear fans with Noctua NF-F12 industrialPPC-3000 PWM fans to improve heat dissipation and cool the graphics card more effectively. The coldest air passes through the radiator first to cool the 7800X3D processor as effectively as possible. It's a shame that the front ventilation grille is offset to the side, as this disrupts the airflow. If you remove the front panel and allow air to enter directly from the front, you can reduce the processor temperature by almost 2°C! I regret that there is no space for one or two fans on the side panel and at the top of the case. At an ambient temperature of 26°C, with the case closed, after 30 minutes of stressing the processor (PBO set to "90Level3") and graphics card (RTX 4070 SUPER) under "FurMark", the processor reached a maximum of 84.6°C and the graphics chipset 77°C (video card fans at this point: 65% PWM).
Very satisfied with this case, very quiet, fairly compact, well-made materials. After an MSI MAG PANO case that was almost entirely glass and fully RGB (it looked nice for a week, then became annoying; in the end, I kept it for less than a year), this case was too heavy and too big for micro ATX (I regularly move my tower from one room to another). This Fractal case ticks all the boxes: extremely discreet, soundproof, simple and well-built. The three fans provided are very quiet.
A little tip if you have a gaming PC: you can easily remove the intake grille, which significantly slows down the airflow. Just lift the folded tabs; the grille is not glued in place. There are no longer any air restrictions and the cooling is excellent. Under full load, this case is much quieter than the old one.
The only downside is that you have to remember to add the optional USB-C cable.
Good tower, ergonomic, spacious and well finished.
The only drawback is the removable part on the front, which can easily fall off if rubbed or knocked.
