A Monster of Power
I went from an RTX4080 to a 5090 and you can see the difference where a 4080 does 4k with sometimes a drop in FPS and has trouble keeping up with 80FPS. In general, you only get 144FPS in 4k without ever dropping and the card is only at 80% of its power! so it only consumes 340W.

Expensive but great performance

I went from an average of 40 fps (without DLSS, in 4k) on my 3080Ti to 120 fps (without DLSS/Framegen, in 4k) on the 5090.
