Designed for residential installations, this Focal Series 100 Hi-Fi pack consists of 2 100IWLCR5 speakers. These speakers stand out as much for their acoustic qualities as for their compactness. They are mainly intended for use in home cinema (dedicated room, living room, etc.), in small and medium-sized rooms. These speakers feature a directional tweeter and two 13 cm Polyglass cone drivers. Two correctors equalise the treble and midrange for improved acoustics. These LCR speakers (left, centre, right) can be used horizontally, as a centre speaker for home cinema. A 3-position switch allows you to define the left, centre or right function and guarantee identical tonal balance at the listening point.
Each speaker fits discreetly anywhere, thanks to its shallow depth and frameless magnetic grille. You'll be amazed by the technology, design and features that make them so easy to use.
Perfect acoustics
The 100IWLCR5 loudspeaker features a 3-position corrector (-3dB, 0dB, +3dB) to equalise the treble according to the acoustics of the room, which improves reproduction whatever the environment (reverberation on windows or tiles, for example). The midrange can also be equalised (-2dB, 0dB, +2dB). Two loudspeakers can be connected to a single amplifier.
All the products in the 100 Series line can be used to back up conventional hi-fi systems, particularly speakers in the Chorus 700 line, for discrete, high-quality home cinema installations.
Easy, elegant installation
Installation is a key criterion. Thanks to the robust mounting brackets and magnetic grilles, installation time is reduced to an absolute minimum. The products in the 100 Series range have a shallow flush-mounting depth that makes installation much easier.
The "tropicalisation" process of the Polyglass membrane makes it resistant to use in damp environments, such as bathrooms.
