I installed my configuration in 2020 & after four years, the thermal pads supplied with the motherboard (a cover comes on top of the M.2s, not shown in the photo) are, I think, dead.
Firstly, they looked like 2 pieces of chewing gum and secondly, they made the M.2s ooze.
So I bought these pads from Cooler Master and there's not much more to say, the brand has proved itself.
