Realistic Multichannel Sound Field (7.1.4 channels)
The XP-EXT1 features JVC's exclusive EXOFIELD localisation soundfield processing technology that reproduces multi-channel audio up to 7.1.4 channels.
It reproduces a realistic immersive sound experience with multi-channel sound through headphones that make it feel like the sound is coming from virtual speakers, thanks to three-dimensional sound field reproduction that is optimally customized to personal characteristics.
In addition to 2-channel stereo, the XP-EXT1 system reproduces 7.1.4-channel multi-channel sound. You benefit from audio formats such as Dolby Atmos and DTS: X that are used in the latest video software for a realistic sound field comparable to listening to a multi-channel speaker system.
7.1.4 soundfield from 5.1 channel or 2 channel
In addition to reproducing surround sound formats such as Dolby Atmos and DTS: X, the XP-EXT1 system supports multi-channel mixing from stereo (2-channel) and 5.1-channel to 7.1.4-channel, allowing you to enjoy omni-directional, spatial sound.
Thededicated smartphone app allows you to easily measure your personal characteristics at home using a microphone in the headphones. The optimal characteristics and location are reproduced for each individual by matching the optimal characteristics stored in the app's built-in database. Remote operations such as adjusting the equalizer can also be performed from a smartphone.
