If you use a wide variety of different materials in your printer, Smart Materials 3D has created an ideal filament to completely clean the extruder of your 3D printer. Temperature is the main factor for this material to be effective during the cleaning of your 3D printer's feed system. You must : Heat the extruder to the temperature of the material you previously used. For example, if you have used ABS in advance you will need to set the print temperature to 240ºC plus or minus. Next, load our Smart Clean filament and extrude a certain amount of material. Finally, pull the filament and insert the material you want to print with.
