Eye strain is caused by high contrast between the light on the screen and your surroundings. By reducing these contrasts, the BenQ ScreenBar Halo lamp provides comfort for your vision, so that you can continue your activities without your eyesight being affected.
Choose to use the ScreenBar Halo in front light mode to optimise your concentration, opt for back light mode to enjoy ambient lighting or choose the front light mode to optimise your vision.You can also choose to use the "Front and Back Light" mode to reduce the light contrast between your work environment and your screen.
320 optical simulations have been conducted by BenQ to ensure there is no glare on your screen. ScreenBar Halo features a 16.5° tilted translucent lens with advanced technology that gradually emits the light you need. A Bluetooth remote control is included to allow you to easily adjust the light of the ScreenBar Halo lamp from up to 1 metre away. The lamp mount offers a wide opening radius of up to 180°, for broad compatibility with different screens. The ScreenBar Halo lamp will also fit curved screens 1000R-1800R with a thickness of 0.7 cm to 6 cm and screens with a curvature of 1.6 to 4.2 cm

Very pleased with the product, works really well, you realise it's there when you switch it off, it's so discreet and effective.
I'd still say it's a bit expensive, but if you can afford it it's worth it.
The only downside is LDLC's delivery times, don't take the Express option, it's money down the drain, it's useless knowing that they need 2 to 5 days to prepare the goods ....
