I was initially very happy with this switch, it's quiet, doesn't heat up and supports the advertised data rate well.
But after just over two years, I'm starting to have problems, all the ports lock up seemingly at random once every week or two, and you have to unplug and plug them back in to get things working again.
I can't work out whether a piece of equipment on my network is causing the problem, I've got some old 10gbps intel x540T2 cards, but I've got the impression that the switch sometimes crashes even when these machines are switched off. In any case, the network loop detection light isn't active when this happens, so I doubt it's one of the switch's safety features that's triggered.
