Could have been the best GPU in its class
On paper, the RX 6600 XT brings the small world of graphics cards back to reason, with a product that is less greedy and (almost) as efficient in 1080p / 1440p as its mid-range rivals.
The icing on the cake is that this premium model from MSI offers the best cooling on the market for a near-monacal silence. It doesn't matter that AMD's ray accelerators are not very good - ray tracing is still a niche technology.
However, this was without counting on the Covid-19 pandemic and the speculation around crypto-currencies... In this second half of 2021, the RX 6600 XT is priced at around 550€ - and it is still the least bad pupil in terms of price!
