The product was delivered at lightning speed, perfectly packaged, and with ease of payment; all good things for LDLC.
As for the M1 (8GB/256GB), no disappointment, the rendering speed of movies under DaVinci is phenomenal (I come from Ryzen 5), and the Apple ecosystem makes it "rather" simple, all my devices (tablet and iphone) sync their watches without problem... I'm in 1440p and everything is very responsive, impressive for a small machine, and pretty cheap. The only hitch is that the SSD option is prohibitively expensive and there's obviously no keyboard or mouse in the box. But hey, we're buying with full knowledge of the facts...

replacement for the Mac mini 2018. for simple office use no difference, however yes if you need to push the performance, does not flinch.

But the price and the possibility to repair OUTSIDE of apple is annoying but we are used to it isn't it apple i believe more this excuse of security but anyway keep in mind that it's fix the Mac m1 no possibillity to change the parts for improved appart "repair" MDR good luck

Incredible processor speed on a Mac Mini!

Bought to replace an iMac Late 2012 at the end of its life, the Mac mini blew me away with its speed, fluidity and ability to handle large images without flinching.
I was very pleased with my order, which arrived very well, and the machine was very reactive and powerful, although it took a while to get used to Windows.

Machine bought in "muscular" configuration, intended for music production. What can I say? First of all, when you start it up, it instantly recognizes the keyboard and the mouse (both bluetooth). Then the configuration, not invasive as on certain systems (no, I will not give names...).
As far as performance is concerned, from what little I could test (Logic Pro with a lot of plugins), it can handle it without flinching and the resource usage meters hardly move.
For the rest, Mac OS Big Sur is super fluid, intelligent (yes, it's possible), intuitive. As a replacement for my late 2013 iMac, the result is below my expectations.
Last point: full connectivity (that's becoming rare with Apple), so no connection hassle, no need for adapters: direct HDMI on the monitor, direct USB for the audio interface, and it works.
