Today, the Clarett range is a true reference. Designed by Focusrite, theClarett 8Pre USB audio interface offers 18 inputs, 20 outputs and 8 mic preamps to allow you to record instruments and vocals in the best possible way. It features 4 mic/line/instrument inputs that pick up any audio source without distortion or artifact. The Halo Gain meters allow you to easily adjust the input level. The ADAT port allows you to expand the combination possibilities of multi-channel mic preamps such as the Clarett OctoPre to up to 8 channels. On the front panel, the Clarett 8 Pre USB interface features two monitor outputs with anti-thump technology, two 6.3 mm headphone outputs with volume control and eight line outputs. The Clarett 8 Pre USB also features a coaxial S/PDIF input and output.

High quality preamps, the Focusrite Clarett USB-C gives you the benefit of high performance (EIN -128dB), low noise microphone preamps that have been designed to achieve the lowest distortion. The result is a clear, open and transparent sound that offers a faithful reproduction of the acoustic source. USB-C, the Clarett 2-Pre audio interface can now be used with any PC or Mac equipped with USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports. The 8 mic preamps, thanks to the "Air" mode, can reproduce the input impedance, clarity and frequency response of Focusrite's original ISA mic preamp. Finally, the Focusrite Clarett 8Pre USB-C is equipped with an LED level meter panel that allows you to monitor the input signals of the 8 mic/line preamps.
