The M1Active 330 USB speakers are equipped with 3-inch aluminum woofers that are lighter and more rigid than typical carbon fiber, paper or glass-aramid woofers. They allow the M1Active 330 USB to have a more linear response through the bass and midrange. In addition, a precisely designed waveguide provides high frequency dispersion in a predictable and well-controlled pattern. This ensures a wider sweet spot for listening while avoiding random sound diffusion. The slightly rounded 'aerodynamic' cabinet edge prevents audible edge diffraction artefacts. The flared bass ports at the rear eliminate turbulence as the bass exits the speaker.

The Alesis M1Active 330 USB speakers are not only substantial audio monitors, but also serve as a convenient audio interface. The M1Active 330 USB speakers allow you to play back sound from your computer, as well as record the incoming sound into your computer's speaker. Vinyl decks, keyboards, guitar effects, DJ mixers or standard CD and cassette players can all easily connect directly to the M1Active 330 USB speakers. Simply connect the USB cable to your computer - no special drivers are required.
