Optimal light quality

The Slim Style benefits from a combination of 2 types of Osram LEDs that will provide you with an optimal and adjustable quality of light in accordance with the latest recommendations in terms of light:

• Position I: white light enriched with the most effective blue wavelengths in the "max" position for your light therapy session; the white light becomes warmer (yellow-orange colour) when you reduce the intensity for comfort use as a desk lamp or auxiliary lamp throughout the day after your light therapy session (30 to 60 min per day).
• Position II: specific blue light, soft and not very intense, just as effective as intense white light. Indeed, our melanopsin ganglion cells, which play an essential role in regulating our biological clock, are very sensitive to blue wavelengths (460 to 485 nm). Thus a monochromatic blue light can be as effective as a much more intense white light.
• This Slim Style light therapy lamp is medically certified. This certification has been issued by the French notified body attesting to its compliance with directives 93/42/EEC and 2007/47/EEC relating to European medical devices.
• It is also certified without any risk for the eyes: risk class 0, i.e. no risk according to the European standard EN62471 (standard relating to photobiological risks). It can therefore be used in complete safety.
