This DuraTek Plus cable has a cable tie (which connects the cable to the connector head). The strain relief is made of flexible TPE. It is longer than other cables on the market. Its long length and flexibility help to absorb tension and strengthen the joint between the cable and the connector to prevent the connector from pulling out. TPE is both soft and pleasant to the touch. It is also more environmentally friendly than PVC.
