The microphone works and has an excellent sound quality. Of course, you should not speak against the microphone as in the movies, with your mouth almost against the microphone, it saturates, but at 5-10cm from the microphone, the sound is of a very appreciable quality, whether in audio conversation or via a sound recorder. Nothing to complain about.
The microphone is very stable on its tripod.
