DashCam Next Base 522GW will be vital in clearing your name in the event of an accident that is not your fault. It features a 1440p (30 fps) or 1080p (60 fps) lens and a 140° viewing angle to capture everything that's happening in front of you. With AutoSync using Bluetooth 4.2, you can quickly transfer your latest videos to your smartphone or tablet. What's more, your phone will automatically connect to the camera every time you enter your vehicle. You'll also have Emergency SOS technology at your disposal: when an accident is detected, the camera becomes a beacon and sends a signal to your phone. If there is no response from you, it will send an alert to the emergency services with your GPS coordinates and other additional information (blood type, potential allergies, etc.)
The 522GW is also compatible with Alexa, and you can use it to listen to music, plan calls, check the weather or find directions, for example. Another useful feature is the "Parking" function, which is activated automatically when you turn off your car engine. This feature puts the camera to sleep, but drastically increases the sensitivity of the accelerometer. If the accelerometer is "woken up" by a jolt, the camera turns on again and films for 30 seconds before going back to standby. This way, you may be able to find out what happened while you were away.
