The Cabasse Antigua MC170 bookshelf speakers offer a rich, unrestricted dynamic sound thanks to its woofer and coaxial midrange. Enjoy a homogeneous sound diffusion and an elegant design to dress up your music lover's installation. Together with theStream AMP 100, you can enjoy all the music in your home, from radio stations around the world to streaming audio with Deezer and Spotify. It has an optical digital input to handle sound from a flat screen or CD player, two analogue inputs anda USB input for playing audio files from USB sticks and external hard drives. Finally, NFC provides instant Bluetooth AptX connection with a smartphone or tablet.
Quality midrange and woofers
Developed according to the technical solutions that have made the Cabasse Eole satellite so successful, the 2-way coaxial loudspeaker of the MC170 range adds to the fidelity of the timbres a depth and realism of the sound image unequalled in its category in high fidelity and home cinema.
The shape of the 170 mm driver' s bowl has been specially designed by Cabasse to provide maximum mechanical rigidity and a low resonance frequency, for better bass extension without coloration. The long coil on Kapton support is perfectly ventilated, the vertical vent radiates on 360°, the power handling and the acceleration capacities are exceptional.
HDSE filters
The Cabasse protocol of measurements in anechoic chamber takes into account the measurements in the axis and over 360° for a perfect control of the directivity and the total radiated power, in accordance with the Cabasse principle of the Homogeneous Distribution of the Sonic Energy (HDSE ). Direct and reflected sounds are homogeneous, the soundstage wide and stable.
Stream AMP: all the music in the world
Stream AMP 100 is equipped with 4 loudspeaker outputs, with impedance adjustment to optimise the available power. It can be configured for use in stereo with 1 or 2 pairs of speakers, in mono with 2 groups of speakers, in mono with 4 groups of speakers.
Designed to be used in a professional rack, it can, for example, discreetly power up to 8 In-Ceiling speakers from our Archipel range and be controlled via Wi-Fi from any room in the house. It offers 4 room adaptation profiles for Cabasse speakers.
Simply select the Cabasse model and the profile corresponding to the positioning of the speakers in the room in the StreamCONTROL application. The improvement of the reproduction, surprising with small speakers by the obvious extension of the bass depth, is also surprising for column speakers.
