Meets my expectations.
Good product, the weight confirms it. Good finish. Aesthetics and A-RGB. This waterblock is used for a 2080 Ti Founder.
The original GPU temperatures are 85°. The GDDR6 at 90° is the hot spot of the card. So much so that I limited the temperature to 65° by software. The card was boiling hot!
With this waterblock, the temperatures are now 46° for the GPU, 65° for the GDDR6 and the hot spot did not exceed 46°. The only thing is the RAM which I still find quite high. The fact is that with the waterblock, Barrow provides pads of questionable quality. For the thermal paste (supplied) I used ARTIC MX-5. Another thing, on the original card, NVIDIA has heavily exploited pads everywhere. Barrow provided just for the RAM, VRMs but some are not covered. I took some of the original NVIDIA pads but I feel like the pressure after mounting is not strong enough. For the rest, nothing to say, it fulfills its function and I can, finally, unlock the card to its full potential. The effect was like having a new card! Proof that the original cooling system of this Founder was limited. You can feel it right away, everything is smoother. The card is at 100% and its power consumption follows with 260 permanent watts!!!
