TheAlpine Dash Cam DVR-F200 is an in-car camera that continuously records the view through the windshield of your vehicle. The recorded footage can be used as digital evidence in the event of a road accident, burglary or vandalism. It records in Full HD 1080p at 30 frames per second and incorporates the Sony Exmores STARVIS image sensor for excellent recording quality, even at night. This allows you to record important details, such as vehicle number plates, to provide irrefutable evidence of events in court. GPS geo-information and driving speed are also recorded. In the event of an accident, the Active Crash Monitoring System will automatically record video data ten seconds before and after a collision recorded by the 3-axis G-sensor. The DVR-F200 comes with a 16GB micro SD card.

For even greater ease of use, the DVR-F200 is compatible with the dedicatedsmartphone application developed by Alpine. Download the Thinkware Dash Cam Mobile viewer from the Apple App Store or Google Play to check, download or delete recordings, update the firmware or view a live view of your dash cam (very handy when installing and configuring your camera). Your phone will connect to the Dash Cam using WiFi technology. Unlike many dash cams that interfere with the signal reception of DAB and DVB-T tuners, this Alpine Dash Cam DVR-F200 generates very low electrical noise and therefore does not damage the reception of digital radio and TV signals in the car. Finally, it includes a cable harness to connect your camera directly to the vehicle's battery, as well as a cigarette lighter connection harness for easy installation.
