Sensitivity up to ISO 819,200To reproduce vivid colours and rich, lifelike gradations at all sensitivities, the PENTAX K-1 Mark II features a unique Accelerator Unit, which efficiently processes the signal from the image sensor before passing it to the image processor.
This flow improves both image resolution and colour reproduction at high sensitivities, while greatly reducing noise compared to the PENTAX K-1. It also allows the maximum sensitivity to be extended to ISO 819, 200 for superb photography at extreme sensitivities. |
The best in photographyThe Pixel Shift Resolution II system is a "super-resolution" technology, which greatly improves the separating power and colour reproduction. Using the SR stabilisation system, it takes four images of the same scene by slightly shifting the sensor at each shot and then synthesises a single composite image with extreme resolution. Not only is the separating power improved, but colour artefacts are eliminated, digital noise is reduced and image quality is greatly enhanced.
The SR II stabilisation mechanism has 5 correction axes and is precisely controlled from the start of your camera. This system covers a compensation range of up to 5 shutter speeds for ideal pictures even when shooting handheld. |

Everyday comfortIn order to precisely align the photographer's gaze with the camera's optical axis while allowing for a flexible angle, Pentax has designed an ideal LCD monitor by creating an innovative articulated mechanism that supports the monitor with four brackets.
