Ordered converter for transferring a VCR signal to a modern screen.
Works perfectly (picture + sound via SCART and HDMi) from first use, very easy to install.
Good image definition on screen
No playback problems. No image jitter.
No latency.
Good quality audio.
Of course, the sources are VHS tape quality, so don't expect a remaster.
This converter linking a VCR-DVD recorder to a modern TV allows me to play VHS cassettes (and DVDs).
My only comment: it would have been better if the HDMI output had been on the rear panel and the USB input on the front panel.
The location of the connectors on the input side isn't very happy: plugging in a SCART socket, which is always angled, causes the power supply connector to be overwritten. It works all the same.
This converter does the job you'd expect:. it enabled me to connect an old video recorder to a recent television set which, alas, no longer has enough connectors.
