In semi-professional use (40 sheets per week) for about a month, from a Mac. Good print quality, easy set up, colour refill system is interesting, speed ok. Noise is not really a problem. The only real problem with printers today is the lifespan. So it remains to be seen...
The printer is great for classic family/paper needs.
I bought a cartridge printer (Canon PIXMA 870) to extend the life of the ink. For the moment we are very satisfied, the printing time is greatly extended. No refill since the beginning of December, although we print several documents a day (not large quantities, sewing patterns, drawings and resources for the children's school, administrative papers, photocopies, etc.).
The speed of printing is good, the quality correct, it makes a little noise but for us it is not annoying in the room where it is located.
I don't give it a 10 because I find the Epson apps not very good (a bit old school and there are several where only one app would do, for example there is an app called "Epson Printer Connection Checker" whose purpose is to check if the printer is connected...you expect it to work on its own 99% of the time), but then they do work and are updated.
No more having to replace cartridges that no longer print when they are not yet empty, what a pleasure these ink tanks are. Easy to use, fast but a bit noisy.
I've been testing it for a week, it's easy to set up, the interface is clear (except for the choice of printing paper which can be set in the copy??) and for the ink consumption, I'm waiting for a little more time. The only flaw is the noise. It's a shame that a new printer makes more noise than my old EPSON, which is 5 years old and has the same characteristics (number of sheets printed/min). The cost of the printer is divided by 5, but it's still bearable...
