The ZyXEL GS1200-5HP Managed Web Switch has 5 Gigabit ports, including 4 PoE ports. It is fanless and therefore quiet, making it ideal for use in noise-sensitive business environments.
Its compatibility with the IEEE-802.3at standard allows it to power devices on the network within the limit of 30 watts per port. This feature allows existing networks to be extended and powers high-powered devices such as WiFi access points, IP cameras and IP phones. With a PoE budget of up to 60 watts and a choice of rating or power mode, the GS1200-5HP 5-port switch is ideal for businesses requiring network flexibility.
Simple and intuitive installationThe ZyXEL GS1200 Series web interface makes it easy to set up and manage the switch, but it also provides SMB administrators with upfront control and planning of their network infrastructure. Intuitive and user-friendly, it allows for rapid equipment commissioning, avoiding long and complicated configuration procedures.
The user is guided step-by-step through the product start-up, QoS setup and guest VLAN implementation in four main steps. The wizard makes the most frequently used features accessible to users with little experience or who want to speed up the installation of their product |

User-friendly managementTo make the network more stable and secure, the ZyXEL GS1200 series is equipped with a number of management features, such as Storm Control, Loop Protection (GS1200-8HP only), Dual Images, DoS (Denial of Service) and SSL (Secure Sockets Layer). The switches avoid a complex setup procedure by consolidating all settings into one system based on web interface on/off switches.
