I bought this kit at the end of 2019 and, fishy as I am, here I am again diagnosing corruption problems after just 2 years of normal use.
A proper diagnosis with memtest86 shows that one of the two strips of this kit is the cause. The memories used on my model are Hynix, and the errors always appear at the same addresses.
Before all this, the kit was fine for me.
I bought this product almost a year ago. It is one of the memories listed in the Qualified Vendor List (QVL) of my motherboard, the Asrock X370 Gaming X, for a 1st generation Ryzen 7 processor.
It works without any problem in XMP profile (2400MHz in 15-15-15-39). I was able to overclock it to 2800MHz in 16-15-15-39. Nothing to report: it is a very good product.
These memory sticks are as described and of the usual GSkill quality. They work perfectly with a Ryzen 7 2700xX.
Hi all, these RAMs are quite efficient, no problems to report, using a X370 Gaming pro carbon with R7 1700X, it runs fine in 2400.
Installed with an AMD RYZEN 7 2700X
BE CAREFUL with the slots to be used with AMD, read the motherboard manual carefully (you don't put RAMs just anywhere) and check that your motherboard supports this type of RAM / frequency.
The expected performance is not surprising.
The price, certainly high, is due to the increase of the RAM market, it is now necessary to foresee a budget for the purchase of the RAM as well as the CPU and GPU.
