I use this cooling for an Intel i7 3770K processor. I haven't taken any temperature data but I haven't had any overheating problems with it. In games (Battlefield 4) I hear a bit too much noise in my Corsair 3000D Airflow tower. When playing with headphones, the noise is tolerable.
The mat is suitable, it has directly taken the shape of the desk, very good mouse glide.

Perfect glide, so you forget about gravity (try it with a lightweight mouse, it's even better). It holds on any surface and does not move. Allows you to take advantage of the full potential of the ever more precise mouse sensors. The only drawback is that it catches small hairs and dust, put it away after use or clean it with a microfibre cloth will solve this problem.
According to my criteria, this mat is the best of the large formats!
