Very poor print quality with bland colours, very low pigment content. It's a new toner that prints like an almost empty toner.
LDLC's response could not be more disappointing: "inferior quality to the toners offered by the manufacturer. There is no real problem here, it is simply an entry-level product.
Disappointing and inconsistent.
Since it is a "High-Tech expert" who answers, why is what seems so obvious not stated in the description?
Moreover, this is not at all the discourse held by the manufacturers for more than twenty years: the advantage announced unceasingly to justify the reduced price (including undoubtedly on LDLC) is that the compatible consumables dispense with the advertising and other investments of the original brands. Nothing more, I've never seen it advertised that the quality is so reduced and especially so.
low ink flow, poor print quality, even when changing the paper to try to improve, unprinted areas
The print quality looks like an inkjet printer with clogged nozzles and the cartridge on the end.
The 1/2 star is there because, despite everything, the toner fits well in its slot, and the printer prints (for thousands of pages now, since I'm writing this when the toners are closer to their end of life than their beginning. Finally). With consistent, but poor quality.
I installed the new compatible toners I bought from LDLC. They install well. The colour test page I edited is good. First impression: satisfaction, but I can't evaluate the duration. I regret the return labels that Brother offers. I don't want to throw the old laser cartridges in the bin as it doesn't suit me.
The delivery was fast and I can see that the LDLC service is at least as good as AMAZON. So I don't hesitate and I prefer LDLC.
