Purchased for the purpose of a new configuration, I am completely satisfied. Good value for money.
Paired with a 12600K, a B660 Gaming X and a mid-range NVME, it runs very well.
After three years of use, I approve.
On an MSI X570 chipset, I had to configure the timing information by hand, as the automatic (XMP) profiles didn't work.
The card sometimes refuses to start up if > 3400MHz...
MemTest OK at 3566MHz.
Thank you again to the team for their advice and help, and above all for the commercial gesture (checking that it was indeed my ram and not the cg that had a problem, free of charge).
That's the kind of gesture that keeps you loyal, when the quality of service and products is there too.
For a PC geared towards music production with a major need for RAM for sample libraries, I wanted to go from 64 GB to 128 in XMP 3200 MHz: impossible to achieve, far from it, with major crashes otherwise.
The 1st set of RAM kept up. With this extension, I'm struggling to get up to 2300 MHz!
Very disappointing indeed.
A call to the LDLC hotline suggests that this is normal with 4 RAM bars.
However, I'm still rather puzzled about the quality of this RAM in the end and the response I received
