    OPTOMA WHD200 video sound transmitter

    I bought this product to transmit video and sound from a BOX TV to another room, and it works fine, in order to prevent the optima WHD 200 from always being in use, I bought an additional accessory (SPLITTER)with 1 HDMI input AND 2 HDMI outputs.
    Connecting the HDMI output of the TV BOX is connected to the HDMI input of the splitter )and the HDMI output OPTIMA WHD 200 is connected to the 1st output of the splitter and the 2nd output of the splitter is connected to the HDMI of the TV ,
    The infrared system also works properly to stop the operation of the devices in use.

    This is the second one I've ordered, the first one, the external power supply failed after 4/5 years. I have noticed that Optoma has changed the external power supply on the second version since then. The device works better, the image is more stable than before and there is no more sound and image cut off ;-)

    Just take it out of the box, connect the receiver to the amp, the transmitter to the projector and it works perfectly!
    I'm taking one star off because the USB cable that powers the transmitter is not detachable from the power supply... I would have liked to be able to use the USB port of the projector with a cable instead of having a useless power supply on the ceiling. So I bought a cable and considering the price, they could have provided a cable!

    Perfect but just broke down after 3 weeks

    Easy to install, I got a great picture even through a concrete slab.
    In addition it supports the IR remote control of the device being watched (in this case a C+ cube) after setting up the receiver. It would have had 5 *.
    I was very satisfied. After 3 weeks, it started messing up, long switch-on time, then finally, it transmits the image only 1 second out of 3 seconds.
