Frequently asked questions
I would like to return a product under warranty. How are return costs covered?
We offer all our customers residing in mainland France and Belgium a prepaid return label allowing them to return the most common products free of charge (products under 30 kg that can be handled by La Poste or a Relais Colis network). In the absence of a prepaid shipping label and in the event of non-conformity, shipping costs are refunded upon presentation of proof of postage based on a standard tracked shipment (Colissimo for France, Kilopost EU for Belgium, Swisspost Postpac Int. ECO for Switzerland, etc.).
Can I choose to apply the manufacturer's warranty first?
Of course! Many products also benefit from a commercial warranty that can be handled directly by the manufacturer. Applied without intermediaries, it is often the fastest option. Most laptops, monitors, printers and hi-fi / Home Cinema products can therefore be repaired or replaced directly by the manufacturer or its network of technical service centers.
Do you accept to take care of equipment that is no longer covered by warranty?
As computer hardware specialists, we can most often offer to repair a computer even when its warranty has expired, whether it is a desktop or a laptop. These operations are of course billed, but can often be more cost-effective than purchasing a new one. If an LDLC store is close to your home, you can entrust us with the repair of a computer even if it was not purchased from us. Do not hesitate to contact the store closest to your home for more information (the list of our stores is available via this link ).
