Very good product
My old MSI CoreLiquid 240R V2 died, so I was looking for a replacement. The Thermalright Aqua Elite V3 does an extremely good job for a price that beats all competition. I highly recommend it.
I went with this Thermalright Aqua Elite 360 V3 to cool my Ryzen 7 9800X3D, and the result is beyond my expectations. This processor is known for being power-hungry and getting hot very quickly, but this AIO handles it with incredible ease: temperatures stay under control even under prolonged heavy load, it's impressive.
What surprised me the most is how quiet it is. Even when I push the machine to the max, the fans stay discreet. We're far from the turbines you sometimes hear on other watercoolings in this range. Real everyday comfort, and especially for this price!
And on the looks side, the white version is gorgeous, it fits perfectly into my build. Careful finishing, hassle-free installation.
In short, a quality/price/performance/silence ratio that few AIO can match. I recommend it with my eyes closed!
I chose this small water cooling system to cool an Intel Core Ultra 5 245K processor mounted in a SilverStone SUGO14 SST-SG14B "mini" case. I replaced the original fan with an Arctic P12 Pro and applied Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut Extreme thermal paste.
After 30 minutes of stress testing under FurMark at a frequency of 5GHz for the 6 P-Cores and 4.6GHz for the 8 E-Cores (maximum power consumed by the processor: 188 W), the maximum temperature reached by the processor was 90°C (maximum operating temperature specified by the manufacturer for this processor: 105°C) at an ambient temperature of 29°C! I think it would be difficult to do better with other cooling systems in such a small volume, with such a high ambient temperature! At this price, the Thermalright Aqua Elite 120 V3 is very attractive (even when you add the price of the Arctic P12 Pro fan)!
Good product and good value for money for a branded water cooling kit.
However, I agree with the previous comments: get another thermal paste and don't use the one provided.
Impossible to apply properly, too pasty, a real headache... luckily I had some left over, otherwise I would have spent the whole afternoon on it! :)
One star less for that, otherwise no complaints.
Easy to install (on the LGA 2066 socket).
The thermal paste provided is of very poor quality (dry and unusable).
Installed in a large all-aluminium case to cool a Ryzen 7 5800X in the tropics (New Caledonia). Use of the computer for audio and video editing with Fedora Linux on Plasma. Noise level within the norm for water coolers in normal mode, but becomes quite noisy when it has to run at full speed.
Average temperature in normal operation 44° to 50° when it's 30° in the room (on a processor known to heat up).
So it's pretty effective for a small watercooling system (unfortunately, there's no room for a bigger one).
BIG point of caution: the thermal paste supplied is very thick (and sticky) and acts instantly like putty. The paste is very difficult to spread evenly over the IHS (=the metal plate above) of the processor. It sticks really hard and makes it difficult to dismantle even immediately after assembly. It's better to buy thermal paste separately and throw away the one supplied. Which is what I ended up doing.
2 stars less for that.
Very good product, not noisy, easy to install and top value for money - nothing to say at the moment.
Having received this watercooling as a gift, Thermalright is always on the ball.
Good cooling and the rgb is really nice.
The product complies with the description. It is simple and matches my configuration very well.
The Watercooling is very good, easy to install, not too noisy, it doesn't heat up too much. I recommend this product for those on a budget!
