For storing and playing videos (mpa, mkv, etc.) it's OK.
But it prevents the PC from restarting. Total blockage: you have to remove the disk, then switch the PC off and on again to get it to start up.

because it's a good product. It is small and fits in my pocket. It has two ways of connecting.
I used it to host the bootcamp partition of an iMac 2017 Fusion Drive, which was very very slow under windows because it was only placed on the HDD part of the fusion drive.
Transfer without loss of data from the BootCamp partition to the T7 thanks to the (free) Wintousb utility, and we get back an iMac under windows with the speeds of an SSD!
Remember to connect to the USB-C port of the iMac.
